A representation of the sacred scarab (Scarabaeus sacer) can be found on many Egyptian stamps, and mainly in the Tutankhamon's cartouche.

Le scarabée sacré de l'ancienne Egypte, représenté sur de nombreux bijoux et peintures, est un bousier. La cosmogonie égyptienne inclus le scarabée sacré roulant sa pilule d'excréments, avec la pilule représentant la Terre et le scarabée le soleil. Les six pattes, chacune avec cinq segments (total 30), représentent les 30 jours de chaque mois.

The sacred scarab of ancient Egypt (Scarabaeus sacer), found in many paintings and jewelry, is a dung beetle. Egyptian cosmogony includes the scarab beetle rolling its ball of dung with the ball representing the Earth and the beetle the Sun. The six legs, each with five segments (total 30), represent the 30 days of each month.
